Medihelp Medical Aid 2027 premium increase is between 6.5% and 8.5% with average of 7.5%.
The Care Extender benefit unlocks two free GP Consultations and R1 050 towards self-medication or acute medication for whole family after qualifying test and health screening test was done by member. (The care extender benefit is not available on MedMove Option)
MedMove Student for only R 864.00 per month. This option provides students with medical benefits in network hospitals and network providers.
Medihelp have introduced emergency room benefit for beneficiaries under the age of 19 except MedMove. ER visit is covered depending on the triage level assigned by the emergency unit.
Medihelp have added Mental health benefit for treatment of depression, subject to registration on the Depression Support Programme. Benefit for professional services and monthly medication.
